A New Chapter For VEERAH
Hello VEERAH Warriors,
After much reflection, I've made the difficult decision to end VEERAH's footwear business. While this chapter is coming to a close, I truly hope this is just a "goodbye for now" as VEERAH will continue to champion a world where warriors are killin' it with kindness.
When I started VEERAH, my dream was clear—to build a world-class sustainable vegan fashion brand that empowers women, makes a positive impact on the world, and proves that we could Do Good AND Look Incredible. Inspired by women, made for warriors, our mission was to show that style, compassion, and purpose can beautifully coexist. Yet despite our achievements and your wonderful support, the business itself is not financially sustainable.
Growing up, I was instilled with the belief that to succeed meant to never give up. I thought perseverance meant pushing through no matter what. VEERAH has become deeply intertwined with my identity that this farewell feels like saying goodbye to a part of myself. But life has taught me that sometimes the strongest thing you can do is to let go. Letting go of the business is harder than continuing on, but I know that life is short. I want to direct my energy where it creates the biggest impact and fulfillment.
I've seen many farewell letters from other businesses over the years, and I never imagined I would be writing one for VEERAH. This is a humbling and bittersweet moment. As difficult as this is, I'm choosing to see it as an opportunity to reflect, recharge, and reimagine. Throughout April, I want to celebrate the incredible milestones we've achieved and take this time to reflect on our journey. My heart is filled with gratitude for everyone who has been part of this story—our dedicated team who believed in the vision even on the hardest days, our partners who took chances on us, and especially you, our amazing supporters who believed in our vision and carried our values forward with every step. Each of you played a role in what VEERAH stands for, and I am forever grateful.
While VEERAH's footwear journey is pausing for now, I plan to maintain our community and platform—championing for women and animals, highlighting inspiring stories, and sharing what I learn along this next chapter. This isn't an end—it's a transformation, and we will always be committed to killin' it with kindness. I would love your suggestions on what we might become next.
Thank you for walking this path with me. The connections we've made and lessons we've learned will continue to shape whatever comes next. I know our journeys will intersect again, and until then, let's continue to make this world a kinder, more compassionate place—together, one step at a time.
With a full heart,
Stacey Chang
