Materials
- Upper: USDA-certified bio-based apple leather, made from 66% bio-based content. Approximately 49 organic apples are repurposed to make a pair of Dian sandals.
- Lining: Soft & breathable microfiber lining
- Insole: Algae-based insole foam, which replaces more than 30% of petroleum found in traditional foam. One pair of algae insoles restores 4 liters of clean water back into the environment. It also prevents 3 cubic meters of CO2 emission.
- Outsole: Resin-coated rubber outsole
- Dust bag: Made from 4 to 5 500ml recycled PET bottles
CARE
In order to keep your shoes in good condition, we recommend keeping them away from extreme light, heat and humidity, and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces and materials. Clean gently as needed using a clean, dry, soft cloth, and consult a professional cobbler for more extensive cleaning needs.
Note: For vegan suede, a soft bristle suede brush can be used to brush any debris.

Summer Sandal
This is a summer sandal I got on sale. I’m between 8.5 and 9, I prefer the way the size 9 fits me. The manufacturing is perfect, no defects. The strap is a bit difficult to pull through the holder but might get better with time, the pearl shoe jewelry from the site looks elegant with this sandal. It’s easy to walk in with the block heel.

Great heals. They are very comfortable and easy to run around in, I’ve been able to wear these while herding kids around outside just fine. True to size, if you’re between sizes I’d say size down.
